23 year old Palli Bjornsson comes from a small suburban town just outside Reykjavík, Iceland. Around the age of 15, he started playing guitar in hardcore and experimental punk groups, but found he was not enthusiastic about the entertaining/performing part of rock ‘n roll so he started making computer related music. With Pakku, the plan was to make flowing, imperfect worlds of sound using simple guitar parts mixed and manipulated with electronic noise. The result is a symbiosis of textured sounds found amidst layers of carefully crafted rhythm’s and ambient backdrops.
